Story House 33

Story House 33 is perfect for a few days of rest, holidays, special occasions or events, and is available for families, friends or groups up to 6 persons. 

It is located in Vila Boim, a rural village, near Elvas. 

We have rehabilitated this old house to welcome you with authenticity. We wanted to provide it with all the comfort and convenience you deserve, preserving its essence and its time. Time written on its walls, doors, doorways, tiles and stones. What we add or change was also written through textures, materials and colors, all in harmonious coexistence. In the outdoor courtyard of ancient stone slabs, the old memories and elements have been preserved, the well, the washing tank, the stones, and an old and expressive vine that offers us grapes and shade in the summer.

We maintain some traditions and reinterpret others, giving rise to singular objects and details that are revealed.

May you also enjoy the village, its traditions, its streets, its people, grocery stores, bakery and other traditional stores. And right next door there is the endless countryside, with its narrow roads, waiting perhaps for a beautiful bike ride. A little further on, in Elvas and surroundings, there is a whole unique historical and natural heritage to discover.

The House Spaces

  • 3 cozy bedrooms with twin beds and private bathrooms. The bathrooms are very bright, and were designed to provide you with a well-being experience, where we combine light and natural elements for a sensory shower;

  • 1 fully equipped kitchen, very bright, in communion with the patio, where you can prepare magnificent meals, using the olive oil from the region that we leave you;

  • 1 family dining room;

  • 1 family living room with fireplace;

  • 1 outdoor patio with old vine, shaded dining area and jacuzzi. The kitchen, dining room and living room are interconnected spaces located around the outdoor patio;

  • All the spaces of the house are decorated with antique and authentic objects. They are handmade pieces that tell us stories about those who created them.

Stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, hand blender, toaster, coffee machine (Delta capsules), washing machine, tumble dryer, tv, air conditioning, and heat pump for water heating.

Story House 5

This house is being prepared for you, is perfect for a few days of rest, holidays or special occasions and will be available for 2 people.

It is located in the heart of the Historic Center of Elvas.

We rehabilitated an old building to be an house. There are three floors that follow each other and provide us with a feeling of discovery, and where at the highest point, we enjoy a small terrace, with an interesting perspective on the city.
